Less than 1.5 miles away, Louth is situated at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds where they meet the Lincolnshire Marsh and is often known as the "Capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds". It developed where the ancient trackway along the Wolds, known as the Barton Street, crossed the River Lud. The town sits to the east of a gorge carved into the Wolds, that today forms the Hubbard's Hills.
Market Rasen is a small market town on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. It lies on the River Rase, approximately 13 miles from Lincoln, 18 miles from Gainsborough and 16 miles from Grimsby. The town is famously known for the Market Rasen Race Course
Horncastle is another extremely popular market town located just outside Lincoln. From antique shops to tradition taverns and everything in-between - Horncastle has many hidden treasures waiting to be discovered
Cadwell Park, the famous motor racing circuit established in 1934 is located just outside Louth in the Lincolnshire Wolds. The 2.1mile long circuit plays host to a variety of events throughout the year including British Superbike Championship, Vintage Sports Car Club and the Superkart British Grand Prix
